I haven't been posting lately because I've been so busy with school! To make up for it, I've decided to post 2 of my outfits from last weekend. If you would notice, I LOVE BLACK AND WHITE. I am most comfortable in these two colors because they are subtly bold, and they work with any silhouette. I am definitely not a pastel and peplum girl. #Sorrynotsorry
On Saturday, I went to dinner with my family and I wore one of the tops I have designed. It's not clearly seen in the photos, but the front is black and white while the back has a white top half and a black top half. Looking at it now, it kind of reminds me of the LV checkered dresses.
Now on Sunday, I had my grad pictorial. I decided to be a "VOGUE cover girl". Doing the pictorial was such a thrill because I was not dressed as somebody else---I was dressed as myself. And so, it was easy to move around and do poses because I was comfortable in my own skin. That's what fashion is all about right?
I looooved the silhouette of this outfit. The white bottom half of the top seamlessly "blended" with the skirt---a very relaxed yet chic statement.
The top turned out great because it loosely hung on my shoulders, especially in the back part.
The slight slit in the skirt made all the difference. I would have looked like a secretary at an office if it hadn't been for this life-saving slit.
And here it is.... a very awkward smiling shot.
Red was perfect to use for the cover because the color would definitely pop right off a page.
I chose my gold necklace with green accents to contrast with red.
Trying to be fierce.
"Omg I'm on the cover of Vogue!"
